This is my first post and I am looking forward to this new role as a blogger! Several people have told me that I should write a book but I thought I better start with a blog.
Last Saturday I turned 40. The weeks leading up to my birthday were filled with trepidation because my husband passed away at the age of 40. When the day finally arrived, it was so great! I felt like I had been in the wilderness for 40 years and had entered the promised land just like the Israelites in the Bible! It feels like a brand new start. I turned the page on a very specific chapter in my life that day. I had my last sugar that day (at least for a while) and am eating healthier and taking care of my body. It has served me well so that's the least I can do! :-)
This blog is another new chapter in my life. It will be neat to see what adventures are around the corner!
